Sending Your Film To Us For Processing

This guide is for people who have ordered film processing from us, or are planning to, and would like to know more details about posting it to us.

1. Package it up.

Package it up safely and securely, either in a box or a well-padded envelope.

Please don't put it in a paper envelope designed for letters. They are so easily torn or damaged if they contain something other than a letter, and we've sadly seen rolls get lost in the post this way.

2. Write all the stuff on the envelope.

Write your order number, followed by our address clearly on the front of the envelope.

[ORDER NUMBER]
Jack's Lab
Unit 34 Meriton Foundry, Meriton Street
Bristol
BS2 0SZ

Your order number is the number on your order confirmation email/confirmation page that begins with #J (eg. #J3245).

If you've opted for our Same Day Express service, we also ask you to clearly write 'EXPRESS' on the outside of your parcel, so that we can easily identify it when it's delivered and check it in to guarantee the same day turnaround.

3. Head to the Post Office.

We strongly advise you to take your parcel to the Post Office, so that they can apply the correct postage to your parcel.
Please don't just pop a stamp on it and chuck it in a postbox, it probably won't get to us. And if the correct postage isn't applied, it either won't get to us, or we will have to pay it for you in order for your parcel to be released and delivered. Which will then be invoiced to you.

4. That's it!

Once your order arrives with us, and we've checked it in, you'll receive an email notification letting you know that it's arrived safely with us and is in the queue for processing.

Once your order is complete, you'll receive an email with a download link to download your scans from Dropbox (if you've ordered them), and then your negatives will either be shipped back to you, or recycled, depending on which option you've selected at checkout.
If you have any further questions about how this process works, please feel free to drop us an email at hello@jackslab.co
